Kai is born and raised in Ucluelet, where the ocean was never a
backdrop—it was his playground. Growing up, his days were spent chasingtides, exploring hidden corners of the coastline,
and fishing simply because that’s what life revolved around here. That kind ofchildhood builds an instinctive connection to the water, an unspoken understanding you feel the moment you step aboard.
Paired with his easygoing nature and genuine love for sharing the
coast he calls home, time on the water with Kai feels less
like a tour and more like being shown around by a local
friend who truly lives this place.
